St Peter's Nakedness

The concept is that the truth (atheism) is our spiritual nakedness which needs to be covered up in order to protect us from emptiness.

This covering is called “The Grace of God”. When Eve was made, the scripture says they were both naked. “They were both naked the man and his wife but were not ashamed”. This is also an important statement hinting that this new society (The Hebrews) knew the truth about the non-existence of God. To be naked before the Lord is to be atheist i.e. not believing that there is a God at all. There are no such things as gods. This truth makes us spiritually naked. Therefore the very first society of Hebrews knew this truth. This is the nakedness of Adam and Eve after they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (the truth). This is also the same nakedness of Noah and the nakedness of Moses and also the nakedness of Job.

It also is the nakedness of Peter the disciple; In this story in John 21 Peter the disciple goes fishing in the nude in the company of Thomas, Nathanael, John and a couple of others. While he is fishing in the nude John says to him “here is the Lord” at which time Peter wraps his fishers coat around himself and then casts himself into the sea because he was naked. The story is pointless and ridiculous unless it was making a decisive point regarding nakedness. Nakedness is to be atheistic (a pure state of mind) but this atheistic state of mind, needs to be covered and camouflaged (fishers coat), so that less informed people, do not become confused or think that you are an hypocrite.

Joh:21:7: Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

To know ones nakedness is to know that there are no such things as gods but this mindset destroys our comforter we need a spiritual comforter to be under the Grace of God.

Joh:14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Joh:14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh:15:26: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

This is the formation of the mystery of god and the great dark secret of Christianity referred to as the Mystery of God even the veil of heaven.

1Co:2:7: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Eph:3:9: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
