It is interesting to note that Adam and Eve were naked but were not aware of it.
Ge:2:25: "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed"
But after they ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil i.e. the TRUTH then they felt this nakedness.
Ge:3:7: "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."
The interesting concept introduced in this verse is the fact they sewed fig leaves together in order to clothe themselves. The nakedness they experienced is a spiritual encounter with the TRUTH that "there are no such things as gods". This concept strips us of our preconceived ideas of allpowerful gods and leaves us empty of spiritual comforters. Jesus said,
Lu:11:24: When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
Lu:11:25: And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
Adam and Eve knew their nakedness and decided it was something which should be covered. Hence we witness the setting up of the mystery of god through our nakedness. The fig leaves Adam used were the stories and fables of the Bible to cover our spiritual nakedness.Re:10:7: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
