Baptism is Birth

Now the Baptism was preached for the remission of sins.

M'r:1:4: John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

This means that the purpose of the Baptism was to inform people of the atheistic nature of the truth, that there are no such things as gods. If one is made into an atheist, they are slain in the spirit and become dead to idolatry and their sin is wiped away. This is true. That is why the Baptism is seen not only as a death but also as a resurrection.

Ro:6:3: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Ro:6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

So when a person is Baptised they are also told the truth or Holy Secret of the doctrine or the mystery of God, namely that there are no such things as gods, this constitutes what is meant by the Holy Ghost. The word Ghost means ‘a nothingness’ and so we are saying that the Holy Nothingness is what we believe in. This of course represents the belief of an atheist. So then through the baptism the person who believes in something at first is informed that there is no such thing as god. Therefore their mind is cleansed by this education and from then on they believe in nothing or the Holy Ghost. By this method Sin becomes irrelevant.

By this method people die but could then be raised up again or resurrected into the secret privileged few who knew the truth about religion. They then knew of the ‘covering’ or ‘veil’ of parable and stories and practices of ritual and worship. Jesus gave them the Holy Ghost to replace the emptiness of spirit left when god-stuff is purged.

The point is that Christianity and Baptism caused people to be classified as being dead to the misconception that they were previously under. Knowing the truth makes a person fiercely adamant about knowledge and their state of mind. Once they are so indoctrinated it is impossible to go back to the old corrupt ways, just as it is impossible for some scientists to accept spontaneous creation over the theory of evolution. Knowing truth is enlightening. For this reason early Christians were adamantly unable to deny their doctrine, because it was so superior to all other enlightenments.

Heb:6:4: For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

Heb:6:5: And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
